Emu Oil

Emus are large flightless birds that are native to the outback of Australia. The Aborigines used the oil from these birds for many types of herbal medicines. Modern scientists have now begun studying these versatile birds for the unique properties of their oil. Laboratory tests in the U.S. and Australia show that Emu oil can enhance products such as Glucosamine. Linoleic acid and oleic acid are two fatty acid components in Emu oil that act as a natural anti-inflammatory.

Aloe Vera Gel

This is a aqueous extract made from the aloe vera plant.  It is known to have anti-inflammatory properties as well as benefits for the skin such as soothing, healing, moisturizing, and restoring elasticity.

Glucosamine

Chondroitin Sulfate

This is a naturally occurring component of cartilage and aids in the lubrication and cushioning of joints.  It also provides structure and flexibility for you joints.  It also helps inhibit specific enzymes that otherwise would cause degradation of cartilage.

Arnica Extract

The active components in this herb are sesquiterpene lactones which are known to reduce inflammation and decrease pain.  Scientific studies have documented its ability to relax blood vessels and increase circulation to relieve bruising, soreness, and swelling.

Capsaicin

This is one of the most widely used topical ingredients in O.T.C. pain relievers.  Derived from the pepper plant, capsaicin appears to work by reducing "Substance P", the principle transmitter of pain signals from arthritic joints to the brain.
